Air bag occupancy sensor emulator, Mazda MX-5 mk2.5, Mazda 3, 5, 6

Passenger seat occupancy sensor emulator, to enable fitting of seats without the sensor, Mazda MX5 NB facelift models (mk2.5) 2001-05.  When fitted this will make the system act as the Japanese market version, ie. the passenger air bag will go off in an accident when the drivers one does.

To fit, ensure the ignition is off, unplug the small white connector on the base of the seat, it has about 30cm or so of cable attached which goes to a large white plug that connects to the plug sticking out of the carpet.   It is easier if the seat is unbolted so you can see underneath.  Plug the emulator into the 3-pin connector (it has a guard to make sure you do it the right way up).   

Note that this also fits other Mazda models, we have tried it on a Mazda 6 for example.
