The small, lower gearlever boot to seal the top of the turret.  Mazda MX-5 & Roadster 1.6 manual models 1989-93.

Will also fit later mk1 1.6 & 1.8 cars from 1993-98 as a replacement for the original part M513-17-480A.

If your gearchange is notchy and stiff, chances are that this boot has split and you've lost the turret oil.  Things are often significantly improved by re-filling the turret oil and renewing this gaiter (and the upper gaiter too).  Genuine Mazda part.
