The small, lower gearlever boot to seal the top of the turret.  Mazda MX-5 & Roadster manual models 1993 to 2005.

Will also fit early mk1 1.6 cars from 1989-93 as a replacement for the original part M514-17-480A. 

If your gearchange is notchy and stiff, chances are that this boot has split and you've lost the turret oil.  Things are often significantly improved by re-filling the turret oil and renewing this gaiter (and the upper gaiter too).  Quality aftermarket part.

Fitting guide:  By design this is a very tight squeeze over the gearstick and once it's on it won't come off again.  It is easily split when fitting, so we recommend that you oil the gearlever shaft and warm up the gaiter in hot water before fitting, this will make it more stretchy and easier to fit.
