Used Torsen LSD, Mazda MX5 1.8 mk2 & mk2.5, 1998-2005. 3.9:1 ratio.

These are the diffs that fail regularly on UK cars (we think this is due to MOT brake testers using the wrong technique and testing them on the brake rollers).  This one has been taken from a fresh import and has been checked for wear and broken parts. 

Note that when taking your car for MOT, tell the tester that it has a LSD and the rear brakes must not be tested individually on the rollers.
