Stainless steel boot/luggage rack with wooden slats, Mazda MX-5 mk1 & mk2 and various others. This rack has marine varnished wooden slats to put the luggage on, giving a more classic look.

Aftermarket item, made in England, easy to fit and remove.  Note this will only fit cars with a rear spoiler if you don't mind removing it before opening the boot fully (see picture of red car).

It clamps on the side edges of the boot lid and has rubber feet to protect the paintwork.  Rack dimensions: width (side to side) 89cm, depth (front to rear) 38cm, height (above boot lid) 10cm.  The feet are 45cm apart front to rear so your boot lid needs to be at least that distance front to rear.

This will also fit other cars, such as BMW Z3, Triumph TR, Fiat Barchetta, Morris Minor, Toyota MR2 (SW20 - on the engine compartment), Porsche 944 convertible, etc.

This rack will not fit the mk3 (NC) MX-5 from 2005 on.

Note, if you are planning to use this rack at high speed or with large items on it, we recommend that an extra fitting bracket is ordered at the same time.  This can be used to attach the forward edge of the rack to the leading edge of the boot lid to stop it from sliding back.
