New alternator for Mazda MX5 & Eunos Roadster 1.8 Mk1 with manual or automatic transmission, 1993 to 1998.  This is a new item, no exchange is required.  This is the higher output alternator as originally fitted to later (10/1996 on) and automatic cars, but it will fit all the earlier and manual 1.8's and is a good modification if for example a more powerful stereo is fitted.

Note that this will not fit the early 1.6 cars (1989-93) as the belt is different.
